Alan Wood FRICS, Director
Originally from Shrewsbury, Alan studied at Bristol Polytechnic, decided to stay in Bristol and became professionally qualified in 1977. He began his career in the licensed, leisure and business sector in 1979. Established Moore, Wood & Cockram with Steve Moore and David Cockram(now retired)in March 1996.

50th birthday was held in Biarritz in October 2003 and sporting activities still include swimming(six miles a week),skiing, surfing, cycling and golf(current handicap 11 - April 2008).

Peter Caldwell MRICS, Director
Peter joined Moore, Wood & Cockram in May 2004, having worked with firms of national licensed and commercial specialists. Qualified in 1994, Peter has in-depth knowledge of sales, acquisitions, valuations and professional work within both the licensed property and commercial sectors. He is also visiting Lecturer in specialist valuations at the University of the West of England.

In the 1990's, Peter owned and managed a 15 bedroom hotel, with a 50 cover Restaurant and Public Bar. After 3 years the desire to return to chartered surveying and the professional property world proved too strong and Peter re-entered the profession in 2000.

Bruce Sprosen
Bruce joined Moore, Wood & Cockram in February 2007 to head up the sales department. Previously Bruce worked with two national licensed property agents in Birmingham over a period of 10 years, having originally begun his career in Bristol.

Bruce is a keen sportsman and has undertaken three half marathons in 2007.He has been accepted to run in the London Marathon in April 2008.

David Foley BSc Hons MRICS, Consultant
David qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1987 and has run his own business specialising in property investment, development and management since 1993.

David became a consultant to Moore, Wood & Cockram in 2002 and provides the partnership with invaluable knowledge and experience relating to the commercial property sector.

Steve Moore FAVLP, Consultant
Steve has been valuing and assessing inventories for over 20 years acting for a variety of clients from individuals to National Breweries.

Originally with Courage, Steve now acts as a Consultant with Moore, Wood & Cockram offering invaluable advice whenever the opportunity occurs!
